i haven't had the caps on yet, those will be the last thing to go on when the truck is done, just to cut down on the risk of having to take them off again and chipping them or something.
I see. I think you'll be pleased, because I put mine on with new grease caps and it turns out that a scuffed up new cap is the EXACT color of the rim/cap.
And I must say, it doesn't look bad at all.
Semi-update! Found out that I had a leak in the radiator and I thought it was from one of my outlet tubes I welded
, but it turns out it was worse than that. The very top cooling tube was leaking at the solder joint at the outside corner.
Not a very big leak, more of a "squeaker", but a leak nonetheless. And to make it worse, none of my welding skills/technology could fix it if I wanted to.
So I had to use the worst thing a welder regrets..........water JB weld.
I packed that puddy into that tube corner and I hope that "seals" the deal. Anyone?........Anyone?
All I got left are the pass. side exhaust hangers and some amber bulbs, re-adjust the lower driving lights, and top off the fluids.
Should be all done this weekend.........
