1994 Mazda B4000. I got the truck for cheap, but I didnt know much about it. It came with a skyjacker 6" lift, no extended radius arms and stacked blocks in the rear. It also had some 33" half bald tires on it. One day I was out trying to wheel it and broke the u joint and front shaft on the passenger side front. The ujoint spit the caps out I found them under the truck. It came with 3.27 gears 4.0 5 speed. Manual locks and windows. I drove it with a busted front shaft for probably 6-7 months due to not enough money to really fix it. The truck was really under powered with 29" inch street tires on it. The engine would over heat in 5th gear trying to maintain speed. But now it has been modified.
Front and rear 4.88 gears with power trax lockers. 35x12.5x15 mud king tires.
2" longer drive shaft in the rear with 6 degree pinion angle shims. - The drive shaft was binding up for some reason when I swapped the axle in.
Trim front and rear fenders for tire clearance.
1" stacked washers under front coil springs welded.
Extreme drop pitman arm, doubt it will break the frame.
760 u joints in the front.
Spring inside slip yoke with dust cover welded on, worked fine .
Tried the truck out yesterday on some stuff a unlocked 4x4 couldnt get up. In a way I was dissapointed because it was too easy lol.
I will probably leave it like this for a very long while untill I have more cash. The gears and lockers were a lot of money.
Some pictures.
