i just finished installing a 3inch body lift on my '95 ranger, but i can not get the steering shaft apart to add the extension. i still drove it home from school and it turned fine, just a lil tight but not horrible. so if anyone has any info please tell me.

by the way well worth it and it looks amazing

ok on the steering box shaft there should be a slit in it. so you should be able to take a screw driver and hammer and pray it apart a little so it can slip out. the shaft should slide down towards the streering box alteast mine did. you might have to get a little phyiscal with it. or might have to drop the steering coloum and pull on it why someone hits the shaft with the hammer. hopes this helps.
