Bought a 92' 4x4, 4.0, XLT 5-speed that runs decent, but boy does it need some TLC. Hopefully I can get some good tips from y'all.

So far, I have the following noted issues that I have just begun troubleshooting:

1. Dome light stays on all the time; doors open or closed makes no difference. Headlight/dimmer toggle confirmed off.
2. Parking brake light does not activate. Parking brake does not release when lever is pulled and must hand pull the pedal back.
3. Emergency flashers do not work.
4. Back up lights do not work.

My credo
Toonces drives a Ranger . . . . just not very well.

Welcome! That's a lot of electrical issues. Start with the fuses for those that don't work.

Seems to me most of the wiring troubles are sorta between the dash and the tailgate, although I am not an expert.
Welcome to TRS man, and good luck with it
