Hi Guys,
Haven't been on TRS in a while. Sold my Sport Trac this past fall, and I missed having an RBV so much that I bought my '05 Fx4 level 2 two weeks ago! Truck has 85 k on it, very clean. I so far have done 06 mirrors and tailgihts, and put some fresh BFG's on it. Other than that, totally stock.
I am interested in the superlift, was eying one for the ST for quiet some time. I have been saving my $ and I am in a place to afford the lift, however, I do have some questions regarding it. My first question is 1. what can I expect for fuel economy decrease? How about overall handling performance? If it helps, I have a company car for work, so the vehicle is not driven everyday as of right now, and it does have the 4.10 Torsen T2's in it. Also, my 2. question... How can I coilover the front? I mean yeah, a prerunner would be badass, but I don't live in the desert or up by silver lake, not to mention the 4500 dollar price tag from Dixon bros. Is there a simple or "bolt-on" way to eliminate the T-bars? And also, I'm not interested in a SAS.
