couldnt wait to get my 265/75/16 goodyear duratracs on. searched all over the forums and was convinced they would mount up fine with my setup. imagine my dismay when they came into the shop waiting room to inform me that they rubbed just slightly on the sway bar with full turn crank, due to the tread nubs on the sidewall. they managed to convince me it wouldnt be a problem if i didnt crank the steering. i rarely do that anyway cuz i heard its hard on the steering components. should i consider putting a wheel spacer in for my peace of mind?

i still have a couple turns left on the t-bar bolts. dont really want to crank anymore. already rides like arse. think a half turn would bump it up enough to clear the sways??

I wouldn't worry about it unless the tire is like catching hard on it and damaging the tire treads. Mine rub my radius arms a little when turned hard. I just don't turn the wheel that last half-turn.
