Hey TRS,
Most other forums I've participated in strongly encouraged an into post at first so here's the obligatory cherry-pop...
Name's Bryan, picked up an '87 Ranger (4x4, supercab, 2.9, XLT, previous owner swapped out auto tranny for an FM146 from an '88). This will soon be my daily driver. I've got an '07 f150 that the payment is killing me, and I'm really not fond of owning things this new, too much electronics everywhere, not to mention the cost of tires for 17" wheels and other maintenance costs. I picture this new (to me) truck as getting back to basics.
I traded a ski-doo formula III for this truck, knew it needed a clutch so I also did the slave cylinder. Did rear brake lines, and now noticed it needs front lines too. I'm having an issue with 1st and 3rd gear in the tranny too, but I'll head over to a tech forum to dig into that.
So there it is, officially intro'd myself. Would love to get to know some of you knowledgeable wrenches on here.
