Hey Welcome! See you are already finding your way around the site. Lots to enjoy. See you have a 351 in your Ranger, sure people down in the V-8 swap section would like to see some pictures and little about the swap.

There's actually a 2.3 in it at the moment - the strip-out is likely to be as soon as I get my block sent off. And I have a choice of two -
351W or 351M

Fortunately I ALSO collected an extra chassis along the way :icon_cheers:

And by the way I don't plan on making a big deal out of who I might be elsewhere, so here I'm just another newb.

Well, down in the V-8 swap section, most will tell you to go with the "W" version, mostly for the ease of fitment. Headers are the usual problem.

Yeah - I saw that. I like the idea of block huggers.

One of these days I need my own wire feed so I don't have to hike across the street to my buddies place. We can run whatever pipe from there back

I've always preferred flight deck LOX boots, much quicker and easier on/off. It's nice you have that US NAVY part of your sig in yellow so I don't have to look at it. But we do appreciate the rides all y'all gave us over the years.

I have no idea who you are elsewhere, but we'll bust your balls here, just for GP.
F'n tweets. Sheesh. (former Marine CH-53D/E AE talkin' shiot).

Welcome to The Ranger Station, boot/newb/DAN/FNG.

16 posts and still no pics /shakes head with a facepalm/

Welcome to TRS...

I'm also a former someone that doesn't talk much about it...mainly because I forgot who I was...but we're all Ranger owners or something to that effect and I think you'll find it most entertaining...and maybe learn something or help someone who needs your expertise...

YO JARHEAD -I GOT NEWS, Do they teach you guys how to look up someones albums in the CORPS?

I tell ya - I've been bustin' ball joints for more than thirty years, so bring your balls right over - I'll have a sledge hammer and a pickle fork waiting.... :D

On another note - check the "Social Groups" here at TRS and you might just notice something new and very cool

The picturezzzz are linkezzz BTW

*PS: Yes I speak BB Code...

You maybe have a sorta impression that I'm kinda good in this environment. That's true - as a NAVY instructor I had to learn all about presentational software and what it could do - but I got disgusted with how slow they were about it at some point back in 2002 and bought my own Dreamweaver and Fireworks Suite

I'm also an old hotrodder/Greaser from way back in the seventies...

*And since someone mentioned it - I changed one of my sig colors to tarnished gold. DOES THAT help any, you half blind son of a Devil Dog?

Are you sure you are ready for this?

That's what I did for a living, and why I can survive now in these times.
