O/D button on the shifter, what wire on the trans harness does it tie into?

My project is a '97 Explorer 5.0 swap to a '96 Ranger 2wd. The Ranger was originally a 2.3 manual trans truck, so no column shifter. I am using a floor shifter from a '96 Mustang with an automatic. Does anyone know what wire in the trans harness I need to interrupt for the O/D button? Or does the PCM harness have the wire I'm looking for? Any help, links forwarded, pics are greatly appreciated. This project has been plug and play until this point, it's just a small hurdle I believe.

In 1995 and up the OD OFF button runs to the PCM, its a momentary 12v button that toggles the PCM from ON to OFF to ON to OFF, ect......................
So not an on/off button

On Rangers or V8 PCM pin 29 is the TCS(trans control switch) hook up, tan/white wire

When you turn on the Key and PCM powers up it resets to OD ON regardless, thats its normal state
If pin 29 gets 12v PCM toggles to OD OFF, if it gets 12v again then OD ON

Pin 79 on PCM controls the OD OFF light on dash, white/green wire

So in a nutshell, the tan /white wire coming from pin 29 in the PCM harness is the wire I want to use...?
Not as worried about the indicator light in the dash, just the O/D working when needed.
