Good job...does that stuff dry solid or is it like the rubber guck that stays semi-liquid?
I want to redo mine this summer after I get the wheel wells replaced...and inside the wells also...
it takes a bit, but it solidifies pretty hard, with a slight squishiness of the rubber chunks, depending on how thick you laid it down.
buy more than just one gallon, and xylene/xylol is MANDATORY, however the little goofy styrofoam looking roller doesn't lay down very thick coats, i used a standard sized cotton paint roller to do most of it while my friend did the intricate stuff with the little roller, and we did touch up with spray can liner, the standard brush, and used gloss black autopaint on the bolt heads to maintain a uniform look without plugging the torx head.
That looks great.. I've never done anything like it before. Do you think it'd be simple for a n00b like myself to do?
i'd never done it before, and it turned out like that, but your milage may vary.
