Ohio house laws?

I live with my parents, and pay 100$ a rent a month. My step dad is a dick, so more than likely i will be kicked out of the house sometime soon. I am moving out in June, on the 11th to Syracuse New York for good. I don't want to pay rent for the 11 days, and i don't plan on it.

I was informed by a manager at work that since it is my legal billing address, they have to give me a 30 day eviction notice..does anyone know any truth in this?

Since this is your step dad and I'm assuming mother, I don't see why getting into the legalities is even required.

Be responsible and pay your 11 days of rent, and move out. Don't take a chance at ruining your relationship with your mother over $33.

I agree with paying up your $33. Try not to burn bridges. On another note, Syracuse is so much fun... lol. I've lived here for 20 years (I'm 20 btw) and everytime I try to leave I can't. Once you come in, you're here, forever.

More than likely he will want the 100$, and im not paying that for living there for 11 days. I don't care about the relationship with my parents after i move out. My step dad and i have never gotten along, so that isn't a worry.

Man, i have to start meeting some people. I will be there for a week before i leave for camp for two months, then ill be back for good in august.
