Hello All -
I've got a 1992 Standard Cab, Custom with 4.0L and 5 speed manual tranny. 360k miles.
Hunting down a small oil leak from the oil pan.
I've isolated the oil leak to the sensor in the pan. Went to buy it and EVERY site says the part is not compatible with the 4.0L.
Researched for 2 days and can't find any indication online that the 4.0 has this sensor yet my factory manual clearly shows it does - well and of course it's in my oil pan.
These things are over $100 to replace so I'd like to make sure I have the right part. Can anyone confirm that what I'm looking to get is correct?
I'm attaching a pic from the factory manual and one from the website I'm looking to get it from. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks.
