i have an opportunity to switch a my truck plus cash that i am mildly unsure about and was looking for some opinions. the guy i bought my truck from has a 2001 ranger xlt xdended cab 4.0 automatic, im unsure of the mileage. hes willing to trade my 94 xdended cab 3.0 auto with 205,000 on it but only 55,000 on the trans, plus $1000. i know the interior of the 2001 isnt bad exept for the seat, but the truck has been sitting for about a year. i dont want to trade my truck, but i beleive it may be developing a head gasket problem and i dont have the time to be without a truck. any opinion is appreciated. thanks in advance.

maybe his truck is developing a head gasket problem as well. anytime something seems too good to be true, it usually is.

Sound like a great buy for a 5.0L swap!
