what are the difference between these orifice tubes?

normal factory
auto adjust
auto adjust for severe classmates 105+ degrees

in Arizona would it be worth getting the auto adjust for severe classmates 105+ degrees?

When I redid my entire A/C last year, I just went with the normal factory orifice ($1.00.. cant beat that for price). I was pulling about 40 degrees out of the center vent after everything was charged up. (70 degree outside temp). But that is for central Indiana where we only see triple digits for a few weeks out of the year

I have read that the autoadjusting o-tube is nice in that it will adjust for engine rpm and heat range, and for the hotter climates this can mean as much as 10 to 15 degrees at a stoplight where the engine is idling. a regular o-tube is designed to work the best at cruising speed/ engine rpm, so if you are in stop and go traffic, the A/C suffers. Probably not a big deal for me in Indy, but for you in Arizona that might not be true. For your case, maybe the autoadjusting one for severe climate would be a good investment.

When I redid the A/C in the 96 Probe I owned I used the severe temp variable orifice tube (VOT). IIRC it did 50 on a 90+ degree Georgia day sitting at idle. I know it would freeze you out driving down the road. A/C was shot when I bought the car so can't make a comparison.

When I put the AC back into the 86 V8 swap it'll be getting a severe temp VOT as well. If I ever have to open the system on my 99 I'll swap it for one too, then I'll finally be able to make a real comparison.
