does anyone know how to remove the park light and trim from around the headlight of a 89 ranger if so can you please tell me or show me some pics on how to do it thanks:icon_confused:

go practice on one at the junk yard..lol that way if you break it, its not yours anyway..hahaha

If i remember correctly.... you have to take out the screws that are under the hood and on top of the headlight housing. Then there are three lil clips on the bottom. In theory it should just pull off, but I've had to poke it with a screwdriver before to get it off. Of course, it's easiest to play with it when it's off the vehicle, but you have to remove the parking light/trim assembly before you can remove the headlight bracket, lol.

on my 93,there is a nut behind the whole assembly.once that is removed it just pops out because the other three screws just push in.then once you remove the light you can remove the trim

'93 and up are a different headlight design.

i know that hence the reason i said on my 93.i told him incase it was somewhat similar he would get the idea on how to remove it
