my little sister has an 02 mustang v6 and i was trying to change the front brake pads the other day and ran into a problem get the tire off and start wrenching on the top caliper bolt and wen i finally got it broke loose it just kept spinnin and didnt get any looser and the bottom did the same thing just spin and i couldnt figure out any other way that they came off so my question is did i miss somethin or wut i mean it was late and dark but shit ive never had anything like that happen and ive done plenty of brake jobs so if u know anything that mite help that would be awsome and thanx in advance:icon_confused::dunno:

ok so,whre the bolts go into the coliper there behing ther you will see a rubber boot,inside of that rubber boot are the guide pins in wich the caliper bolts go in.where the guide pin hits the caliper there will be a round peice on it with two flat sides,when you turn the bolt see if that moves,if you cant tell peel back the boot and look to see if the guide pin is turning.if it is grab that peice i told you about with a pair of vice gribs and losen the bolt.

yea i saw that and it was all spinning but i didnt notice if there were 2 flat sides but i know i couldnt hold it with channel locks but i didnt have any vice grips so thanks ill have to take another look at it tonite wen she gets home and ill let u know what happens again thanks for the help!!
