I have been a busy over the last few months working on all my friends' junk... but did manage to get the new beater up and going after putting a low mileage short block, rebuilt roller head, new fuel pump and tank, and an ECU in it...then I did a shackle flip to level it out with the add a leaf the previous owner added. Planning on 3" drop beams and removing a leaf this summer. Ended up converting to manual steering as well..it was already an non A/C truck so now its a super simple truck to maintain and beat around in.

Also....the little 2wd truck named Perry got some upgrades recently. Still waiting for my ECU to come back, but other than that and AC lines...its ready to rip.

First 100 miles down. Only thing left is whip up some AC lines and maybe regear to 3.27s with a trac-loc. Went with a single core 4.0 rad...when ambient temps climb this spring we will find out if that's enough.

Great looking ranger, love the color blue. Is this the ranger the floor mats went into?

The floor mats were going to go into the 88 SuperCab Ranger, but I ended up passing them along to @Shran since he was bummed that he missed out on them.

So put 3k or so on the 5.0 swap (now with AC) and it's had zero issues. Made the 800 mile round trip to Bristol for the Danger Ranger on Dirt in April even.

Averaging 17mpg with the 3.55s....so I snagged a Trac-Lok and some 3.31s for it. Hopefully I can get low 20 mpg and leave two stripes at the stop light.
PXL_20230401_225015654.jpg

Tossed some drop beams under the 88 SuperCab truck, hopefully pulling the add a leaf levels it out.
PXL_20230507_232933430.MP.jpg

Started polishing up some rough Alcoas...might add some bling to the truck once it's a little lower.

Fresh gas a new temp sensor for this pile. Planning to wheel Memorial Day for the first time in years.

Pulled the extra leaves added by the previous owner and bolted the axle back in with new U bolts.

Drove it around a bit and the rear is settling down a little. Looks decent now with Alcoas polished up and the slightly smaller tires up front (205/70 vs 215/70)

Acquired a few more Rangers over the last few weeks...
PXL_20231006_225803490.MP.jpg

Black Ranger will likely be the new winter rig for the foreseeable future. Future plans include a rust free cab I have in stock (blue of course) and a D30 SAS.

The black truck came with a 96 STX that is unfortunately too rotten to become anything but a parts truck.

This 85 was far to cool to pass up on. Bought it just to see what it would like behind the dually.

It is likely going to be the new chassis/look for the OG 4x4 Ranger that everyone here likely knows me for. The 95 chassis has run its course and needs rebuilt using everything I learned from the original build.

Took the 4x4 out Memorial Weekend with my wife and a few friends. Wheeled for 3 days with some "new" off-roaders and I think I got them hooked. The truck had zero issues and I took zero pictures. I call that a success.

Took the B out to a show as well, been a while since it left the shop

What's left of one, unfortunately not worth saving. I plan to hang the bedside, door, and fender up on the wall.

I did keep the vin tag and got a marti report as well. Planning to make some sort of display with a diecast in a shadow box or something
