So I replaced the power valve because I had hesitation mid-throttle and the idle air adjustment screws could be screwed all the way in and the truck still drive. High, steady idle. With the new one I can still max out the screws with little change in idle and the hesitation is still present, but lesser. It's an 85, so it's TFI and computer controlled idle. What else could it be? I can't see any fuel leaking from jets at idle.

Your idle speed is too high, and when that is high, the idle mixture screws will not work correctly. There is a long complicated procedure to set the idle on these computer controlled carbs. Is there a reason you are sticking with the computer control? Like the 84-86 300 six cylinder engines in the big trucks that had the same setup, I encourage everyone to convert there engine away from the computer control.
