im running out of room for audio equipment im my 1989 regular cab ranger, i currently have 2 6x9's behind the seat and i am putting a 10" shallow mount sub with custom enclosure. one idea for amp placement that i had was to mount it under my seat. i still have the stock bench seat in my truck. i wanted to know if there are any problems with this or if any one has any comments on this idea.

you can nothing wrong with it just watch for clearance. a cool little trick i use. is go to home depot. and get a thin sheet of plastic. (forsale signs are good) and paint it to match the carpet. then cut it to the shape of your amp. plus tabs that will fit under your seat rails. and you can bolt it down with the seat rail bolts and then vercro the amp to the sign. so if you need to take it out you can. works really well.

the only problem that could happen is if you coushin on the seat starts to break down and gets on your amp
