My 99 3.0 takes about 5.5 quarts with a filter change
:icon_confused: What? I've only ever needed 5qts to top it off, and the Haynes manual only calls for 4.5qts.

overfilling the engine can be just as bad as underfilling it.

older 3.0's take 4.5 quarts. newer engines take 5. either way youll need to buy 5 quarts.
