With paddles or just all terrains? I didn't have any problem with the 3.0 and grabbers in Glamis unless I stopped.

All-terrains. But I wouldn't run paddles if you didn't have to. They are very hard on factory parts if you are punishing the truck at all.

Nice! I wish they made the double standards with a polished center. I'm picking up a set of polished standards tomorrow.

Nice, ya I'm not that into black wheels but I love this style and the guy has new General red labels to go with them for a good deal so couldn't pass it up.

Dam, seriously blown away with your effort. I really cant wait for the day I can afford to make a street legal race truck.

Keep it up, I'm tempted to drive the 20 somethin hours just to see you huck this thing.

Ok I have to ask why jump up in tire size? Seems like its just more weight, more clearance issues, and more unsprung mass to push around. I ask because I just sold my rock crawler to fund my ranger project and will be purchasing wheels and tires in the next day or two. Along with shocks and bumps and and and........

Ground clearance and getting over the bigger holes. You should see a ranger racing on 39s

That said unless you're using some serious hubs don't go over 33s or 35s

The bigger the tire the smaller the rough terrain becomes in comparison... Smoother.

That is a good looking rim / tire combo dont hurt'em to much on those hard landings. If your gonna keep that extra cab you should put that 4.0 5spd in it.
Funny you say that I was just talking to a buddy about doing that lol. But I already sold all the performance goodies off the 4.0 and the motor should be gone by sat as well. If I wasn't so busy throwing parts and $ at the standard cab I probably would though.
