Looking to get my 94 Ranger on the road again. Plain electric green 2wd std cab. Motor and trans ran very well. Put truck up on it side on black ice and tore up fleetside short bed. Got a stepside bed in nice condition but frame is marginal in several areas. I had a whole new frame section from cab back but took it apart to blast and paint the replacement for offending areas (mostly crossmembers) before putting back together. Shouldve just replaced whole kit and caboodle. Actually the frame rails themselves were not bad is why I didnt. Truck has now sat some time and crawling under it again it appears marginal in other areas .. the left front frame mount fell out on the ground when I jiggled it. I am looking for the outlets that carry new replacement frame mounts and possibly sections thinking if I put money in the truck I would like to have parts availability for future issues, at least know where to search. I have an LMC catalog but it doesnt have much. Wondering if forum members might be able to direct me to parts sources. I know Im getting a Milwaukee Fuel Hacksall so I can do my share of junkyard diving :) New parts better.

My credo
it is easier to fix and understand than "her"
i just buy dayco mounts and rebuild the brackets or make new ones.

they rot behind the rear shock mounts and front buckets....i usually tear em off...treat decent metel and paint or weld in some new steel and bolt er back together.

I replaced my bed frame with one from the a salvage yard, so that's where I'd be heading.
