I have been thinking recently that i need to get rid of my shitty stock open differential, and mayb get a new locker, or even a limited slip diff. I have a 2001 Ford Ranger XLT with the 3.0 L V6 engine, 5 speed manual transmission, and it is pretty much stock except for a catback dual exhaust system, and a few other minor stuff. I use the truck mainly for everyday driving around my neighborhood, and to go to work and back, but i do occasionally take the truck out to the fields near my house, where me and my buddies throw parties, and go muddin. What would be a good brand or model of either a locker or a limited slip differential that i could put in my stock 7.5 diff? If ya'll could give me an estimate on how much it might cost to buy it and get it installed that would b awsome. Its always good to know about sumthin b4 u go and do it.
