Removing Door Panels on 2000 XLT

Just got a 2000 ranger and ive already put a pioneer head-unit in it, now im putting all new speakers etc in it, but i need to know how to take off the door panels? is it pretty much like any other car and they just pull off??? Help please!

ya just remove all the screws and pull it off. the only hiden scew is on the window crank. if u have one just remove th botom piece of the handel and the screw will be behind it.

Don't pull off pull up and then off It has plastic hooks that if you break the door panel will be loose for ever you will see what I mean if you pull it off.

Odie is right....

Pull the two screws found behind the handle and pull the trim piece where the inner door handle is, it's got metal clips and just is attached straight in. Behind that piece is another screw that needs removed. If you have manual windows you have to pop the cover off up at the pivot point and twist it out of the way to access a torx head screw (T-15, IIRC). There is also one screw in the bottom outside corner of the panel. Then work it up and out.

thanks guys for the help. i got the new pioneer head-unit in. also got the rear boston s85's in. waiting on shipping on my amp to power the kicker ks series 6.5" components for the front. im going to mount the tweeters right in the corner door panel. ill post pics in the audio section when its all complete. cool thing is, i use to have a 95 explorer that i sold and luckily for me i removed and saved all my aftermarket speakers and of course they fit in the ranger.
