I've been out of town for the past few weeks. The rental company offered me a choice between a Mercury Marquis and a Wrangler Sport. That was a no brainer!

So far I have pretty much behaved myself. Although, hypothetically speaking, if one were to take a 2011 Wrangler on a trail and, hypothetically speaking, one were to catch a small amount of air, the suspension, in theory, would absorb quite a bit without bottoming out. At least that is my assumption.

You picked that POS over a Marquis? I would have definitely had the Marquis.

Hmmmm wish life would hand me such a dilemma....(hypothetical) crawling/airtime vs cushy cruising.....let's see......

OK, all together now......."Duh!"

Even if I were to stay on the pavement, the knowledge that at any time I cared to, I could do otherwise would be the deal-maker.

Yes. I'm 44 not 84.
I'm 20. Those things feel cheap and top heavy. The damn steering wheel is too damn small as well.

I work for a rental company...
