Original thread got too long and convoluted. Time for new chapter of rambling.
My four-oh had slow coolant drip at timing cover. I poured half bottle of Bar's Liquid Aluminum in and it hasn't lost a drop since. Good stuff...

Never put stop leak in any of my vehicles. Seen blocks and radiators plugged up by it. Friend recommended Bar's Liquid Aluminum. Fixed tiny hole in his radiator core and didn't block anything.
Google product info, super fine particle sealant is guaranteed not to clog, factory approved and doesn't void warranty.

In theory, theory and practice are the same. In practice, they are different.
Really confused. Now I don't have the context of the original thread without searching for it. Maybe add a link?

He is just saying he would never use the masses of cooling system sealer products except for the one he did use... because it's factory approved and doesn't void warranty.

At least that's the way I read it...

It's still in first page. Ramblings of a life long Ford man.

The original thread is only at 6 pages, so I'm trying to figure out how it's too or convoluted. That's nothing compared to some of the other threads around here that are approaching 100 or well over 500 pages at this point.

Gee, you guys are brutal.
Truth is I only started new thread cause scrolling to end of other one tired my old fingers out. 🥴
When you get to the bottom if a page in a thread, there are buttons to move ahead or back to the next/previous page or the end/beginning of the thread.

I wasn't trying to be brutal. There just wasn't anything telling me that this is associated with "X" thread.

That's what I get for not heeding dear ol' granny's wisdom. She told me "the road to hell is paved with good intentions". 😏
