Is there any reason I can't use rubber F.I. hose and hose clamps in place of the nylon/plastic stuff on my 86 Ranger. I'm getting fed up with its brittle nylon line and plastic ends that can be anything but "quick dis-connect!"
Thanks!

You can use high pressure fuel-rated hose if you really want to. It is significantly larger than the plastic tubing so it doesn't fit well in some of the spots.

Absolutely yes. I've replaced as much as I can on my 2002 4WD Ranger without lowering the fuel tank. And yes, I hate that plastic crap!
