Just wondering whats a safe temp.. since its gotten really hot out my engine gets up to about 190. just worryed about cracking a head.

190 is fine. how are you checking temp, do you have a real gauge or just the stock deal?

anyways, i wouldnt worry unless it gets to 220 or 230

well... guess what happened lol TFI overheated and left me stranded and it was at 190* oh and I do have a aftermarket gauge so It looks like ill be relocating that moefoe.

Overheating in Vancouver?
You have a problem. Cooling capacity or flow: condition of radiator and/or most likely an inoperative thermostat (stuck closed or only partially opening). Also confirm that your bottom radiator hose isn't collapsing.
