Hi All,
Redoing the busted old interior of my 94. Found a set of seats from an 07 in a salvage yard, but they have airbags in them...
Want to make sure they're not going to go off on me inadvertently at some point. The most information I can find says "if there's no power to them, they won't go off."
But up under the rail on the driver's seat there's this canister that says "Warning: EXPLOSIVE MATERIAL INSIDE..."
Do I have to worry about this if there's no power to these seats?
I wanted to carefully remove the airbags, but there's no information about that anywhere that I can find.
I figure people must swap out seats pretty regularly, so there must be some info out there about how to make sure they're safe.
Just having trouble locating this specific answer.
Thanks in advance!
