ughhh...

took out the servo, the XL-5 esc and possibly the reciever. took a pic after i turned it off. was on for about 3 seconds, and made a pop so i turned it off. smoke insued.

was a result of me being half asleep this morning and putting the power to the wrong wire.... opps.

damage report tonight when i get home. im thinking its all toasted.

this was one out of a nitro buggy from years ago.

idk which ones your running but mine arent cheap.

I run 400 oz-in steel hardened servo from hightech. the HS-7954SH. they retail for just over $105 each.

stock scx10 is 130 oz-in. just to compare the power. It bent a metal servo horn in half... but when i want to trun, i turn.

well the results....

Toasted servo.. OBVIOUSLY.

weird part... reciever is fine, ESC fried.... explain that one! brand new traxxas XL-5 esc, GONE. ****.

Oh well. running a tazer esc with 55 turn venom and 16 tooth 48P. slow but powerful. So shes good to go. oh and sticking to 2ws.
