I need more sleep.
Well somehow my truck has survived to 150,000 miles (almost), pretty much I've followed the service manual, regular oil changes etc. Over the years I've had to change some suspension components, the door latches, battery and cables etc, nothing major mechanical however.
So is there anything else that's recommended to do at 150k outside Fords manual? I plan on daily driving my truck for the next year until the car I want comes out, then it becomes project truck.

The owner’s manual schedule is pretty thorough even if I disagree with some of the time and mileage schedules.

The only things and I can think of is u-joints, if they haven’t been changed already and the timing chain tensioners if you haven’t be following the 70,000 recommendation we’ve come up with on here. That’s assuming you have the 4.0 SOHC.

Yeah it's the 4.0 sohc.
I think I replaced the u-joints when I did a new axle swap but I might be wrong.
I haven't seen the 70,000 mi recommendation

It’s mentioned here a bunch of times but there isn’t a dedicated thread.

It a preventative issue to make sure you don’t have timing chain problems and it gives you a chance to make sure the port to the tensioner isn’t clogged or gummed up.

I guess I can search for it.

Nothing special to search for.

General recommendation is change the timing chain tensioners around 70k miles.

There are springs inside that hold tension on the timing chains during start up, then oil pressure takes over once the engine is lit up.

The springs west out over time and can cause the timing chain guides to break on startup from too little tension

The factory had an issue with this on the first few years of the 4.0sohc, then they updated the tensioners.

If you don't have time to do it right will you have time to do it over?
I'd change the transmission and power steering fluid, drain and refill the rear end, and flush out the brake fluid. I assume/hope you replaced the spark plugs at 100k, if not, change them now.

Crossed threads are tight threads.
What Walt said. And maybe a coolant flush too. I did the diff fluid on my '08 F150 at 130k, she liked it. I did the spark plugs without breaking them too.
