Anyone know where I can find an installation guide to nerf bars on my 01' Ranger 4x4? These particular bars are old but still brand new (never used) and Smittybilt doesn't make the manual anymore. Google search brings me nothing! Lucky for me, it doesn't look to hard to install. Any ideas would be appreciate...THANKS

If im remembering correctly (i had the same step bars when i had my 01), you use the cab bolts, slide the bolts through the mounts on the nerf bar, and then thread a nut onto it and tighten, cant remember if you need to do anything with your e-brake cable or not its been a while. Then if it has the tab you can drill a hole in your frame to put a bolt and nut on to make the bars sturdy so as not to bend with you step on them. Hope that helps some.

Thanks for your help. Looking underneath the truck and figure out the bracketry is almost impossible. The stock bars are straight accross (rusted out, that's why I'm replaceing) and these Smittybilt are curved underneath the truck. So they don't use the same holes as stock. I will check out the spots you told me...Thanks again, Mike
