I've had this prob for a while and I never fixed it cuz I don't know what I need to do. Whenever the temp outside is fairly hot (85 or up) the speedo is usually off by 4 mi/h. In the winter time, it can be up to 30 mi/h depending on the cold weather. After the truck warms up, the speedo will start to become more accurate. My tach has also been right, so I have run on that for 2 years and it hasn't bothered me. But I've just been wondering what is wrong with it? The instrument panel is a beach to get out, so I really didn't want to try until I knew what was wrong with it. I have taken the cable off the transfer case and tried to pull the cable out so I can lube it, but it won't come out that way. Any answers would be nice.
