Im having a rough time trying to get my spindle off of my knuckle. I've tryed beating on it with a plastic hammer, a rawhide hammer, and a big hard rubber hammer. With no luck. I've even tryed putting heat to it with the tourches. Then beating on it... Still nothing. Soaked it in Pb blaster. Still nothing? Anyone got any suggestions? I need to replace my outer u joint on the drivers side. And can't get it off.

Truck is a 85 ranger with d28. Manual hubs.

Try putting a 2x4 in the spindle and hitting it with a small sledge hammer. It's probably rusted on.

If that doesn't work, get a spindle puller.
