I posted the other day in the 4x4 section but got no answer. I have a bad spindle bearing
in my 1988 ranger 4x4.auto hubs. I need to know what size is the tool for the spindle nuts
Thanks

Just don't get the one that has the "teeth" sticking out if you plan to use larger tires or torque the outer nut like you have large tires. There is a version that looks like a regular socket from the outside.

I just put a set of these on and the socket didn't fit the D35 nuts without a little filing. It fit the D28 nuts fine. I'm not sure if the nuts were messed up or if the socket was.

The auto hubs don't use the pin-style socket and nut. It's a regular hex nut, but it's huge.

I can get the part number off mine tomorrow. It's at work.
