seems like the folks here have done a fair amount for alteration to their rangers and such....So I'll inquire.
Ok so the "Project" is moving on. Slowly
My son has put a 08' CV front suspension under a 84' f150. Why, so it will be unique and improve the steering and handling and braking substantially .
Our question is what is the coupling for the rack and pinion? It is not splined, On the male stub out of the R&P, its about .75 round with a 2 flats at 120deg apart. Is that a "Ford" only item (coupling and shaft)? or can we just get the female end and build our shaft to fit our needs?
