Hello I recently made my own 2 inch body lift and planned to buy a few things I couldn't fabricate easily.

One of which happens to be a steering extension. Now I know some say that they don't need a steering extension, but I don't like the idea of my daily driver not having something that would be included in a kit.

I know summit was selling steering extensions from performance accessories, but PA is now apart of day star and they will not sell me a steering extension;or even give me the part number. I have scrambled all over the net and I am having a ton of trouble finding one anywhere. and the few that I have found don't give specific information for vehicle type.

If anyone happens to know the part number for PA or one available from another manufacturer I would greatly appreciate it.

these are the two I know of on summit.

My vehicle is a 94 ford ranger XL v6 3.0 standard cab manual 2wheel.

The Steering columns of Rangers Gen1, Gen2 & Gen3 really don't require an "extension

the inner shaft is designed to telescope inwards in a collision and there is excess shaft inside for those few trucks built with the shorter manual steering box so there is several inches of slide in and slide out available.
