So i bought and installed a 3" BL and 4" Suspension from Rough Country. I also bought the steering stabilizer that was an option. Its for my 1992 Ranger. The instructions on the stabilizer are crap, and pretty hard to make out because everything is so dark. It doesnt mention drilling any holes for the bracket on the passenger side, and i dont see any holes that line up, So, has anyone put one of these types on without drilling, or is that something i will need to do. Just figured i would ask before i whip out the old chop cut rebuild skills:icon_welder:. Thanks,
Shawn

Yea this one doesnt look like the one you described for the BII. Its a bracket with 3 holes, 2 to mount, and one for the stabilizer, and another matching peice for the through bolt side, but i think mhughes is right, i will have to drill, thanks guys

it more than likely uses the diff as the anchoring point. You have to take out 3 diff bolts and get longer ones to go back in.

are there measurements for this that anyone knows of where to mount this thing. I dont want to max it out on a full turn of the wheels.

i'm not 100% sure on this but i'm pretty sure you just put your wheels straight and pull the stabilizer out half way and mount it like that. I would steer both ways all the way with someone watching just to make sure though.

I'm not sure if you have 4wd or 2wd but here's a pic of my 2wd steering stabilizer:

You can't really see it in the picture, but on the left side there it actually clamps around the framerail. No drilling required.
