hey guys I have finished the ranger except for the stripe that separates the silver and blue two tone paint. It is a 1'' two tone stripe with light blue in the center and dark blue on the outsides. Does anybody know if I can find the kit anywhere for my 89 extended cab. I have already searched the heck out of ebay. Should I keep searching or bite the bullet and just spray it on? I do have the experience and equipment to do it. just a little nervous because if i paint it and it isn't straight I am screwed and have to repaint the whole truck again. Also, can i just use 1'' pinstripe or will the bend around the wheel arches be too severe.

here is a picture of the old stripe, the new one should be the same, just different colors

If you have any body shops near you they should have the stripe kit in stock or be able to make one.

worst case get a 1" stripe and apply it, then get a 1/4" stripe and apply it on top of the one inc stripe.

Might be a bit tedious tho....

Hope you can find what you need at the body shop.

Thanks AJ, I thought about using 1" pinstripe. I just wasn't sure if I could bend it that far around the wheel arches. I know I will have to use the heat gun on this one.
