So ya I kinda did a nub thing. Drove my truck down to my dad inlaws hangar to put my lockright in my xploda and turns out wont go in limited slip diff lol woops didnt read that lol. I had it ripped all out and then realized hmm wont fit lmfao. so who wants to trade for an open carrier :p im in wa btw lol

You could also probably go to a wrecking yard and buy JUST the carrier out of an open diff axle.

You might pay as much for the carrier as you would the entire axle though (what's left of the axle is no longer of any use to them)... In which case, now you have two spare axle shafts!

Yeah, most junkyards wont sell just the carrier. They will only sell the whole axle.

Im near tacoma. I gotta refresh on the carrier installl so I wana be sure on install im doing it correctly. maybe I might take ya up on that. since its been awhile I kinda wanted to avoid puttin it into some1 elses rig dont wana have it screw up down the road. It was pretty easy to rip it apart and put it back together but I didnt remove the carrier so ya gonna need to read up some.

well yeah does your limited slip work in that carrier cause i got no clue how the whole thing works lol. but like i said i got open diff

mmm just gonna remove the axles and carrier bearing caps and it think pinion to match our gears i have 3.73s what do you have?
