When I start my truck the rpm gauge instantly jumps up to about 1100 rpm
And from 1100 to 7000 rpm it seems to work properly,
And when I turn the truck back off it goes to 0
I took apart the gauge cluster looking for a bad or corroded connection.
I did find a resistor on the rpm control board that had a crummy connection so I re-soldered it. I cleaned all
The plugs when I put the cluster back in and it did not change a noticeable thing
anyone else have this problem?
