do i have to remove my distributor or can i replace the module without removing the distributor :icon_confused:

can easily be done without removing the cap. just need a deep 5/32 socket, or a ford TFI distribution tool. the bolts holding it on are a PITA. 5.5mm but it requires a thin wall. the deep 5/32 will work, but it is a very tight fit.

i replaced the tfi module and it is still misfiring bad any suggestions

did tune up (plugs wires cap rotor fuel filter) and just replaced ignition module

check timing then! make sure your grounds are good

your 2.8 has TFI?..thought it was duraspark

firing order correct (i checked it 3 times today) ground is good i have a friend with a timing light im tryin to get to come over
