This is the CZ-75 compact in .40 cal.

This is the Taurus PT-99 9mm. The only difference between this and the PT-92 is factory adjustable rear sites.

Both shoot to point of aim incredibly. I have the famous FTF and FTE probs with the CZ, but its brand new and I havent modded it yet.

The 9 has absolutely no problems whatsoever.

I got a new addition, so I thought I'd bring this thread back to life

CLEAR!

*ga dush*

Tis a .223 Remington break away action made by New England Firearms with a 3 - 9 x 40 Simmons scope. I also got a canvas (?) style carrying case for it brand new from Turkey along with 2 cases of hollow point rounds, all included in one of the best possible graduation gifts:D

So.....anybody have or know of some autocad work?

Nice, you've got my eying the CZ Compact .40 for when I turn 21 :D
My .308 showed up today, gonna try and get out to shoot it this weekend!
FYI, the compact .40. (the older ones at least) have alot of failure to feed issues with hollow points and alot of failure to ejects with all rounds. But its completely modifiable. If you get a magazine from teh P-01 or any other fullsize cz 40 and install the guts in a compact magazine it will clear up most of the FTF issues. There are some other aftermarket fixes and some home remedies for the FTE. Also I noticed that my compact when in single action mode(already cocked) and you pull the trigger it still has a very minor double action pull on the hammer before releasing. Definitely worth buying one and putting 500 rounds through it then give it to a gunsmith for some fine tuning.

Pics coming soon.

Edit:: ok so after reading the whole thread I realized I already posted pics of my two pride and joys, However I have some new ones since then so I will post them instead.

Oh....by the way......does anybody know where I can get a lever action cowboy style rifle, 30 cal (approx.) that fires short rounds for target practice....in other words, I'm not looking for .22-whatevers or 30/30 rounds, etc........I haven't fired anything since my machine gun in Nam & I want to shoot an old style lever action without entering flash-back mode.......any suggestions under $500 ??????

I suggest looking at the marlin lever action rifles.. They are 30-30 but I think you can get them in 30-06. Follow the gun shows inyour town, you should be able to find an older 30 cal lever action. A true 30 cal. But it might require handloaded cartridges.

thanks a ton feelln........i'm just being a whiney baby......but the 30/06 rounds remind me too much of M60 rounds......i'd rather a shorter (lenght) round.....till i get use to holding a weapon again......i looked at a lever action rifle--the employee extended it over the counter for me to hold.....i started shakin....he said" Hey, Don't be afraid of it !"............

You might consider a 44 lever gun as well. Shoot 44Mag. or 44 Special. Plenty of them around now that cowboy action has taken off. Esy to reload for.
