the EAA is an aluminum frame right? it looks like it, but yeah an all metal gun will definitely help with recoil and durability better than a composite frame. 10mm is supposedly a caliber that's hard on a lot of guns. I've been wanting to shoot a 10mm for a while, you don't really see many of them around though. my .40 S&W barely kicks for its caliber size and my 9mm carry piece starts to dig into my hand after 50 rounds. I gotta get me a big caliber, all metal "fun" gun soon, I was going to get a kimber stainless II with my tax check but I got a tv instead :lame:
The EAA is steel, it's 10oz heavier than my XDm..

Dug this out of my closet...

I can only assume that the gun this belonged to, or this bayonet itself has killed 3 people in it's lifetime.

Reviving a dead thread...

Finally checked the headspace on the k98 and found it safe to shoot. Decided to put a few rounds through to make sure. Only got 5 off before the mosquito's got to be too much.

600 yards.

Hey you guys....stupied re-question.....i forgot the answer to the last one...i'm still lookinfg for an old octagon barrel lever action rifle that i can hug while watching cowboy movies....anybody got one for sale that'll still shoot....being a machinist...I can tighten it up...looking to spend a couple hundred on one with a straight barrel--can be pitted, chipped stock, etc....as long as it'll fire safely....

Weapons are like lottery tickets........you only need one......just as long as it's the RIGHT ONE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Around 25 yards. It was just to test fire the gun. I put the phonebook at the base of a small sapling which ended up hiding it pretty with taller grass. It's about half the size and half the pages of a normal phone book, hence the "companion directory" on the cover.

I wanted to put it further down, and there was a long path where I was going to, but it was too over grown and there was way too many mosquitos.

Yeah, I spared the innocent people on the ski lift, but after flipping through the pages I found that I did the world a good deed and decapitated a lawyer...4 shots right through the neck, all the way across. Twas a good kill...:icon_thumby: I think the fly away shot got another one on a different page. Gotta love it when lawyers put their ugly mugs in targets...I mean phone books.
