Ok I cant afford to regear yet. I cant afford bigger tires yet. Actually i cant even afford the tranny i need yet. But i was curious to know. I am going to be putting on my 5.5" lift after i get a new tranny and im ridin on 31's right now. Acceleration and everything is just fine right now, no issues at all actually. But im worried that with a 5.5" lift 31's will just look to small. So Im thinking of getting like 32's or 33's. But like i said cant afford to regear. So how sluggish would my truck be with 33's and my stock 3.73 gears?
Thanks!

well if you have a 4.0 you might be okay but i would say if you have anything else it may be time to regear. you should be able to find 4.0 axles in rangers, stock. thats a good option but you may even want to go lower than that.

gas millage will suffer also, Im going to guess at 12-13 tops. with 3;73s and 33;s..........

You're going to want 4.56's with 33's and a 4.0.

Get a better gear like yukon, Precision Gear, US Gear, as well as OEM stuff.
