Truck of The Month:

From 2000 to 2015 we held a truck of the month contest. After 2015 I stopped doing it due to a lack of participation and decided to just find vehicles to feature on our front page.

I'm bringing back Truck of The Month for 2024 in honor of our 25th Anniversary. We will start nominations and voting in December to choose who will not only be the January Truck of The Month, but the first truck of the month in 9-years!

Who Can Be Nominated:

Ford Rangers and Bronco II's being nominated have to be displayed in the forum by a forum member. If you want to be nominated, make sure you're posting photos and descriptions of your vehicle in this forum.

Nominations & Voting:

On December 1st, 2023, we will be accepting nominations for truck of the month. Voting will begin on December 15th. The winner will be announced on January 1st.

The monthly winners will receive a TOTM banner under their name as well as a TOTM decal.

totm_winner.PNG

They will also be placed in the 2025 Calendar for the month that they won. In December of 2024 we will vote for the Truck of The Year. Truck of the year will go on the cover of the calendar.

In sticking with our past, I will allow Ford Bronco II's to be entered.

Past Winners:

The Ranger Station Street Truck of The Month Photo Section

The Ranger Station Off-Road Trucks of The Month (OTOTM)

Nominate - Good Luck!

This is a great time to acknowledge members vehicle projects! Be sure to nominate and vote!

Well, this should make calendar selection easier.

Just my 2 cent, this time around it should just stay a single TOTM. I know in years past people were always upset because they felt that _______ type of truck was always winning, so it was split into STOTM and OTOTM. I seem to recall that just leading to compaints too. People will get irritated if it is always 4x4 (or new, or slammed, or...) Rangers winning, but that's the nature of a popularity contest which TOTM is.

@Jim Oaks Will there be a separate thread to post the pictures?

Why should I pay someone else to screw it up when I can screw it up myself for free?
Do bone stock clean daily driver trucks qualify?

I hope so. Some of us have a boner for bone stock trucks (sorry about that . . . ).

I'd vote for that one, for being so nice despite going on twenty years old.

Don't get me wrong; I love modified trucks, too. Especially when the thought process and the workmanship are exceptional.

Thanks for bringing TOTM back, @Jim Oaks. I like seeing it back. The only bummer, is no love for first-gen Explorers.

If my truck gets it take comfort in the fact that like 25% of its parts content is first or second gen explorer...

Sadly, at the moment I have more running Explorers than Rangers or Bronco IIs. :(

It is really a dark day when that happens...
