Hello all! Was wondering if I have to keep the same style of control arms when replacing them? I have a 2001 Ranger XLT 4x4 and currently on the passenger side is a 2-piece designed control arm. The driver side is normal one piece. I need to replace them and wasn't sure what the difference in 1 vs 2 piece arms were, and/or if I could take the current 2-piece off and put a 1 piece instead. Still learning the basics of this truck so any assistance is MUCH appreciated.

My credo
Keep your mind like an umbrella, it only works if its open... Continually learning.
Welcome to the site. Does rockauto list a one piece for the pass side?

The two piece arms are just adjustable for caster to help from drifting side to side driving straight... from what I've heard it isn't a huge deal either way...

the cam bolts allow for full adjustment.

Moog makes "problem solver" ones with a replaceable ball joint if it looks like something like that.
