Went up to sunrise lake, and over the V-rock to get there. We met up at 530am, and it was few hours drive to hit the trail, and after a long day of wheeling, made it home at about 9pm. It was raining, the rocks were slippery, and the pics do make it look quite a bit easier than it is, but everyone made it up. Though as you can see, the yota needed a pull (twice). My buddies ranger made it up on the 2nd try, no pics though, I was spotting for him. I'll let the (many) pics do most of the talking.

Stopped to admire the view on the way up

We found the trail!

Started our way up

The crew as we stopped to inspect the path ahead

Good old ford flex :icon_hornsup:

Getting a laugh at the ranger's flex

The dodge made it up no problem, a wider stance and front/rear lockers probably didnt hurt

Myself, trying out the rope swing at the top, it sucked.

Ran another trail on our way out and found a sweet camping spot

The yota thought it could swim! :icon_rofl:

Pulled out by the ranger

Good view of the day's carnage on the ranger. Broken body lift bushings and bumper brackets, as well as a pushed in door panel.

Campfire

Oh shi- :icon_surprised::icon_hornsup:

Thats all folks! Sorry for the HUGE picture dump, its hard to pick and choose :yahoo:

I actually couldnt tell you what that ramp is in there for, my friend had it in the bed of his truck, and someone tossed it under there for some reason, I figure it would have made it down alright without it.

PS: Mike, my friend was talking about wanting to get a ranger meet together for a run sometime. If you're up for fire me a PM, and we can start hunting down more victims to join the fray.

There was one recently down at Hale creek. Cooke15 (on here) organized it, but there were only 4 rangers and my exploder that showed. I'd be down to try it agin though! :3gears:

so ummm, when can I come pick up that fine looking bumper? :D

When my friend was going up the vrock, a tire slipped in and dropped the rear left and front right corners of the bed onto rocks, pulling the bolts through the bed and the two body lift bushings came out. He's looking for a suspension lift to ditch the body lift soon

I bet all that added weight of the rear bumper was a draw back too and caused some of the damage. He'd be wise to take it off and let a trained professional like me get rid of it for him! :D

can you tell I really like that bumper??

Maybe when you get that rollbar mounted up champ :icon_welder: Until then, he says the bumper stays where it is. :taunt:

Totally. That's a bad-ass shot! It looks like a dragon or maybe a Sabre Tooth Tiger.
