Rim sizw has little to do with your rim/tire combo fitting. It is the overall size that matters. I am only running 15's on my 5/7 drop but I have a 28" tall tire in the back, so in theory I could stick a 22" wheel wheel back there if I could find the tire that fits right. The biggest thing holding me up right now from 17's or 18's out back is getting the right overall size. I need a min. of 28 but would like to run 30".
