My truck has the basic non-carpeted floor. I noticed a few weeks ago some water on the floor on the passenger side. I am aware of the possibility of heater core problem causing this on some vehicles, but in my case it doesn't. It only happens when it rains. Even if the windows are closed, after a rainfall even if the truck is parked in my driveway the passenger side will be wet, close to the door. This door has no visible rust holes (yet).

I can't figure out where this water comes from. Anyone seen this before ?

How do the door seals look? Any tears in them anywhere?

They look good. Each Spring and Fall I put some rubber conditioner on them. If one had a tear I should have seen it.

My credo
My world is filled with stuff that needs to be fixed
Check the headliner at the rear after a hard rain. The rear window and/or brake light can leak.

Also pull up the rubber floor mat at the door edge and use a shop vac to pull out the water that is probably trapped under the rubber.

A 3rd brake light leak would end up on the passenger floor ?

Well, I'll check it out.
